"Parking with ready access to the hotel was an issue, especially considering the cold, rainy weather. I could not find a way around using steps into the hotel, which was difficult with luggage. However, the hotel was beautiful - particularly the lobby - and felt like a step back in time."

"If you love history you can really appreciate this place so I loved being there I believe everyone should at least stay there once and embrace the history, silence, and experience of being able to walk around something so beautiful and antique that still standing "

"This cabin was very nice, the location was great, and we loved and utilized the woodburning fireplace while temps were cold. It was secluded and a nice little getaway but still close to home for our kids."

"This location was great and everything we needed for a long term stay. Alexandria doesn't have many options but this one we felt safe and comfortable. The host provided great communication upon check-in and we only reached out to extend our stay a few times and they were very accommodating to the changes. Stayed from June to end of August. I would stay here again in the future. "
