"There was construction, but that was understandable, as they are doing a very nice remodel. Because we were Hotels.com gold, we got free breakfast VIP. All signs and the front desk person said breakfast was until 11:00. It also said that on our card to show the restaurant person. We did, and she said breakfast ended at 20:30, and has for over a year. So we didn’t get our breakfast. That was disappointing. Other than that, the hotel was very nice."

"Very clean. The staff were Great and super friendly! Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was FREEZING but we used the hot tub, it was also January in Iowa so it wasn’t that warm out. "

"Very inviting and warm welcome. Sad we didn’t find this hidden gem sooner after our son has attended ISU for the last four years. We were lucky to meet some of the former fraternity brothers that lived there in the 1980s. Highly recommend this property! Awesome breakfast!!! "
