"We came to the area to spend New Years Eve with our son at Southern Illinois University. The location is perfect - close enough to Carbondale for convenience, but just far enough from the city to be a comfortable, peaceful place to stay. The cabin was clean, spacious and well appointed. Being able to take our small dog with us was an added benefit."

"Great property, very remote, hot tub was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make enchiladas and guacamole. Only downside was the remote batteries didn’t work and there was no closet or dresser for clothes. Saw SO MANY deer and cardinals and blue jays."
