"Atura Wellington is an appropriately priced basic hotel. It has everything you need in a hotel. I like its location. Easy walk past the Parliament buildings into town. Car parking is not a challenge at this time of year or for those who know the tricks of city parking for free. "

"A nice hotel, in a great location on the waterfront. Close to public transport and the Te Papa museum. Room was spacious with a clean, modern bathroom. Helpful staff and reception were able to store my luggage for the day. Dated furniture in the bedroom with marks and stains but sheets and towels were clean. I would stay here again. "

"We went down to Wellington for Christmas and chose a Junior suite with Club Lounge access. Good choice! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole Club experience (first time we have upgraded in this particular hotel). Well worth it. Everything was top notch, the service impeccable. "

"Everything about Oaks was great, my partner and I both enjoyed the room and the staff were super friendly. We chose the City view, no housekeeping package but the lovely man at the front desk added it on for no extra charge. This was my first time in Wellington so definitely made it memorable, my only complaint is that there were a lot of homeless people outside, but other than that, everything was great! "
