"What a super hotel. Never stayed in an octagonal room before but it gave the feeling of space. Nicely furnished throughout with plenty of nods to Darwin. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb, both for selection of options and friendliness of staff. I haven't had better anywhere (including in a lot of foreign travel!). One small and insignificant point: Our bed/room was adorned with 6 pillows and 10 cushions of varying sizes. Possibly excessive!"

"Absolutely shocking stay. No confirmation email prior to arrival or key safe number. Spent an hour trying to contact them. When we finally got through we were about 1 hour from our location in Crewe, to be told sorry the room that you have booked has had a flood in the en suite. We have another property you can have a nice room with a lovely T.V in Stoke on Trent. I had an army reunion in Crewe why would I want to stay in Stoke??? "It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
