"We had a lovely stay, the hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated and peaceful. Lots of space to leave car and easy to jump onto a bus into Cambridge. Our room was clean and spacious. The only minus is that the room was very warm, and got even worse after showering because of poor airflow. "

"A lovely relatively quiet old manor house, just off the M11. Rooms well insulated for heat, 2 windows didn’t close easily in my room, but other guests seemed to slam them shut. Bed was huge and very comfortable; the bathroom was clean and the domestic staff maintained the room daily. I did drive past a couple of times as i thought the main iron gates were a service entrance, but not. Its a sharp turn into the 'drive' and pull up to the gates which will open automatically. "Check in for our one night stay was very quick and efficient and the receptionist kindly offered us some free drinks from the bar as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We accepted these and took them later after we had eaten dinner. We would have stayed longer in the bar had it not shut disappointingly early at around 11pm. The service was good though. "It’s a unique venue in a pretty rural spot but right on the doorstep of Cambridge. The Spa is small and personable with Gym steam sauna and pool. My only disappointment was that the treatment slots were all booked up bar one so only one of us could benefit from a treatment. "

"Our time at the Waterford was short, so we were not able to see or use all the facilities offered, and give them full review. We will be staying here again. Our only criticism is, the cocktails were very weak & not worth the money, we would recommend at trip to the near by supermarket."

"This hotel is perfectly located in the City Center. I had a great experience thanks to the polite and accommodating staff. The rooms were spotless, and I would rate the overall service a perfect 10/10. However, if you enjoy a hearty breakfast, this may not be the right hotel for you. While breakfast is included, it is quite basic. On the plus side, there are free snacks available all day."
