"Overall, my stay was good. My room and the common areas were rather chilly, probably owing to the loss of natural gas from Russia, but the situation did not cause any concern for me. My room and the common areas were clean, but the elevators could use some cleaning. The breakfast buffet provides a good selection. The property is within walking distance of the Hamburg Hbf and a U-Bahn station, making driving unnecessary."

"This place is perfect for a family or group holiday : big rooms, perfect wifi, price OK. Enough choices in the neighborhood for breakfast/dining. Close to public transport. I was travelling for business and therefore the hotel was not so suited for me. But I should have payed more attention when booking = my fault. Staff very friendly and helpful ! "

"The hostel location was really close to Buchenkamp U-Bahn station. ALDI supermarket was at the end of the road. The communication, via email and text messages, before arrival with the property manager was very good and the pre-arrival were instructions very clear (albeit some communication was in German). "Wir hatten ein par tolle Tage mit Familie und Freunden. Das Haus hat genau zu uns gepasst. Die Wohnung ist neu renoviert, teilweise etwas oberflächlich aber im groben und ganzen sehr schön. Es sind nur Kleinigkeiten, eine Tür klemmt, ein Bild und ein Spiegel hängen schief und im Gäste WC funktioniert der Wasserhahn nicht. Wenn das Haus für 8 Erwachsene vermietet wird sollte auch Besteck, und Tassen für 8 Personen da sein. "
