The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-equipped, providing a perfect retreat especially after a busy day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago. "

"I love the character of old hotels and this one did not disappoint. Pros: we had hot water for showers, plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, two onsite restaurants to choose from, and two complimentary bottles of water in our room. We called for room service one night; they were friendly and fast. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were more than generous. I ordered the hummus and the tacos, both appetizers, and I had enough food to feed 4 people! My husband ordered the club sandwich and he, too, could have fed 4 people with the size sandwich and amount fries he got. Cons: the temperature could not be set. It was either heat or nothing. Spend the extra money if you want a room with a view or you’ll be disappointed looking out your window. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Very nice room, comfortable and spacious. Think the fridge is mainly for shooter bottles of booze. Only other down side was window next to bed was a bit drafty. Otherwise i enjoyed my stay there."

"This hotel is in an excellent location to enjoy all that downtown Chicago has to offer. Just a short stroll is all that is required to be at excellent restaurants and shopping, as well as famous Chicago icons. You can even use the hotel car for quick rides to anything within 2 miles. The staff was absolutely fantastic and our room was clean and well appointed. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant that are part of the hotel. We will absolutely stay here again."

"I went on a staycation (I live inner city) downtown Chicago with my niece to celebrate her college graduation! This hotel was in a nice location, easily accessible (one block off Michigan Ave),& the staff was amazing. I will definitely be staying here again in the summer!"
