"This is an older property that has been renovated. From the outside, at a glance, you could miss this truly charming gem. I’ve visited the area for over 20 yrs and I never knew this was here. The room was spotless. Had all amenities that we needed (coffee maker & fridge). Bed was super comfy. Decor was retro funky and such a pleasant surprise. We even had a lava lamp! "The hotel was closed due to damage suffered from Hurricane Florence, that is NOT the problem..... the problem is that I was not made aware of the hotel being closed and had to make late night plans for a new place to stay..... Orbitz DID assist with finding a new hotel but it would have been nice to know in advance of the day arriving."
