"This review is meant to help those future guests. The location of the hotel is great it has an amazing view. You feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The resort/ hotel needs an update so there are many inconveniences. The price is low due to the hiccups throughout the facility. "This is an old and historic property. It is still being renovated , but was comfortable and gave an experience of an old, historic plantation home. Manoa Valley is a good location. It was nice to sit out in the morning and look at the garden and listen to the birds. "

"Property was in close proximity of shopping, dining and beach. The option of pool and jacuzzi, mini market, laundry and fitness center on the 6th floor was a nice extra for the days we didn't want to go out. Staff was nice. Property offered 24 hour security with cameras in the common areas. Room we had was a bit outdated but served it's purpose."

"Staff were attentive, friendly, and approachable. Especially at concierge. Love the interiors. Arrived to a clean room and very comfortable bed! Slept so well. Location was excellent, near shops, food, restaurants. We didn't mind not staying closer to the beach and only an 8-10min walk anyway. Will definitely stay again. "

"If you're staying in Waikiki then I would highly recommend this place. I wasn't prepared for just how noisy it would be, so ear plugs are essential, but otherwise it is a gorgeous venue, the staff are superb, and Jack is adorable and higly worth feeding some treats to. Only other negative thing is that the beds are quite hard, (which is unpleasant for a side sleeper like me), but my wife found it really comfortable."
