"We were looking for a spot where we could hang out as a family of 16 coming from 7 spots around the US and Canada. This house worked well with plenty of bedrooms for adult children couples with ensuite bathrooms. "We stayed at this property while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was midway between both families and in a cute neighborhood close to historic downtown Plainfield. My only complaint about the property is the political propaganda posted on the fences in the front and back yards. If you’re running a business you should realize not all your guests share your political views. Frankly I was offended when I pulled up to the property. The election is over. Take the materials down. "

"The neighborhood was nice and house was as advertised. We cooked and used the grill and enjoyed visiting in gathering area with friends. We had a small plumbing problem with the house and the owners very quickly responded and fixed the problem. Would be glad to stay with them again."

"Great home on the Kankakee River! Fully stocked kitchen, fun loft bedroom, magnificent views of the river and wildlife. We wish we were there longer and also in warmer weather to enjoy the river. Working with Linda and Natalie was so easy and they were always so accommodating. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. "

"We traveled to visit my kiddo who is a student at Olivet. This trip was by far the best! Normally we are cramped up in a hotel eating out at every meal except for the free 'mid' breakfast, scrolling thru their cable channels trying to figure out what to do or what to watch while sitting in bed. All the while listening to the neighbors upstairs walk on their heels and the cleaning people slam the vacuum into the door. Never again! This cute little house was absolutely perfect for us! "Definitely wished we would have known about this place sooner. We would have stayed here multiple times over the last 4 years our daughter attended Olivet. It was a great staging place for my daughter to get organized/packed up as she graduated. You can walk to campus and Dairy Queen (Yum!). The host left snacks out for us. We asked if there was an iron on the property. Within hours, the host had brought a brand new iron and board to the house. Response to any question was immediate. The house...
