"I lived in Wilmington for 12 years and I miss it so much. My husband and I take a trip whenever we can and this time we went down to celebrate our anniversary. This place was absolutely perfect! Right in the heart of historic downtown, we were able to walk around and enjoy the city. The little balcony was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning. The host was extremely attentive and responded immediately whenever we had a question. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We are grandparents touring Wilmington with 2 of our grandsons and our small dog. We only stayed one night but it couldn’t have been nicer. It is a grand older Wilmington home that is now a duplex. Off street parking was easy. Located close to riverfront but most will prefer transportation to visit the area."

"This place was perfect for our group of 3 adult couples, and my adult daughter. We were in town one for a nearby wedding. The home was perfectly located, and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our stay. It was an easy walk to the riverfront area. We enjoyed both the porch and the back courtyard area ! Brian is a wonderful host, just the right amount of checking in...Would definitely come back here when in the Wilmington area !"

"The property is in a great location with ample space. Rooms were spacious and furnished well. We just had two minor comments - the stove top runs very hot. The upstairs shower/tub combo only has water for tub - the shower did not work. We had a very nice relaxing holiday and would rent the house again. Also, I have already recommended the place to a friend."

"Size was perfect for 5 adults and kiddos. Park is directly across the street.. location was excellent! Family from Ohio had a wonderful time."

"This property was all we could ask for. Very nice house and our dog loved the yard to play in. Very nice neighborhood and all neighbors were very friendly. Will come back again."

"This property met our needs exactly for a small family reunion, plus remote work for my husband. The owner worked with us on a very last minute reservation and was highly responsive and proactively engaged to make sure our visit went well. Most notable was the comfortable bedding, amazing ocean view/beach access, and convenient location in the middle of Surf City. The custom bunk beds were especially appreciated, as they accommodate full-sized adults without wobbling or squeaking. We'll be back...

"This was a great location and beautiful place. Had all the amenities that the site said it did. The Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/silverware, pots and pans, etc!!!!!!!The only downside to this, we were not aware that when we arrived, we had to make our own beds. This is not something that I/we have ever had to do in any other VRBO we have stayed at. would have been nice to know this before we got there."

"The house worked perfectly for our family and extended family. There are plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, and it is close to UNCW if that is what you want. Everything was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. We will rent this place again as we head to Wilmington often to visit family. "

"The stay was not bad. It was areas that could use a little more attention. I shared my experience with the owner and they took everything into consideration and plan to make the changes. The location is on the corner at a traffic light so although it allows events parking is very minimal. It is very spacious with plenty of restrooms and toliet paper, soaps etc."

"The home is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the views are amazing! You are right on the sound and across the street from the beach. Walking distance to local shops, bars, and grocery store. We used our car maybe once and that was to go into Wilmington. The owner was easy to communicate with and our stay was perfect thanks to him. We can’t wait to rent this home again in the future.
