"Just returned from my solo stay for four nights at the Beachcomer Motel in Fort Bragg and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. My king room was large with a comfy bed and chair, lots of plug-in options, appeared to be recently remodeled with nice furniture, lamps and mirrors. No daily housekeeping, which I preferred, but easy to call and get anything that was needed. Sunsets from my ocean view room were spectacular. I’ll be back!"

"The king-sized bed gave us the best sleep we've had in our last few trips staying elsewhere. The room was clean, including the dark carpet, and the mirror over the bathroom sink was well lighted with what I assume was full-spectrum light. The small refrigerator was on the larger side. My husband was impressed with the solar panels and the 3 Tesla charging stations. My only regret was that there was no hot food for breakfast (no meat or eggs), and that it was too heavy on sugar. No decaf coffee,...

"I like Surf Motel, even though it does not have an ocean view, because it is reasonably priced, well-maintained, and the central garden area gives it a special, homey feel. Traffic noise is not a consideration, and the location is convenient to Fort Bragg's features and very close to the harbor."
