"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this studio. The unit was spotless. The kitchenette, soaking tub, and fireplace were great amenities. The view of the mountain from the room is beautiful and you can watch the gondola come and go from the balcony. Great location and so much to do within Spruce Peak Village. "We are from Florida had never stayed in northern Vermont and we up for some skiing and visiting winter. This retreat worked great. Exactly as described, it is a cozy spot nestled in the mountains a short walk to Smuggler’s Notch Ski Resort and under an hour to Stowe on the other side of the mountain (when Rt 108 is closed for the winter). A great base camp to explore the area and get in some winter sports. It had everything you need and everything went very smoothly. Thanks for a great winter...

"Stayed here for a summer trip. Great location. Nice view with huge covered deck. Felt very private. Apartment is easy to access and close to pool and laundry. A/C was very noisy but we only needed it during the day when we weren't there. Very dusty fans but otherwise clean. Check in process wasn't very clear. I recommend calling the actual resort to arrange key pick up. Also would have been nice to know in advance about the Do Not Drink restriction at the time of our visit so we were better...
