"My wife and I enjoyed our stay overall. The location was perfect—quiet yet convenient. Check-in was a bit rocky; it took about 45 minutes, and they initially couldn’t find our reservation. To be fair, it was Easter weekend at 8pm on a Friday. Once we had our keys, though, things improved. The staff was responsive—extra sheets, towels, and blankets were waiting on the porch the next morning. We booked a 2BR/2BA unit with a jacuzzi. "Had fun "

"The room was great. Bed was comfortable, nice shower, well equipped kitchen. Walls / Ceiling were thin. Lots of noise from neighbors. Don't like being charged extra for more towlels."

"We stayed in the one-bedroom condo with my family of four. This gave us plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable for 5 nights. The property had a lot of amenities that we enjoyed during our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Great location adjacent to the winery and restaurant. The room was much smaller than I anticipated, based on the photos. The bathroom was more dated than I was expecting, too. There was a LavAzza espresso machine in the room, however no directions. I found a video online and made a cup. It was yummy, but the machine was LOUD. I'm sure I woke guests in adjacent rooms. The winery and restaurant next door were wonderful! "

"This was my wife and myself 6th trip to Williamsburg. Previous 5 trips were with family and stayed at one the resorts outside of the park. This trip was just the two of us and stayed in the Chiswell-Bucktrout. Nicely modernized with a comfy queen bed/private bath with the ambience of an earlier time. Loved our stay. "
