"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

The house is very well equipped for children (high chair, dishes, toys, seat adaptors, etc.). Close to supermarkets. 5-10 minutes bike ride to town center. Everything was clean when handed over. "Die Nähe zum Strand mit 7 min Autofahrt ist sehr gur. Die Betten sind groß und haben gute Matratzen. Die küche bietet das nötigste, wasman braucht. Zwei Gartenliegen waren auch vorhanden, wie auch ein Grill und einem großen Sonnenschirme. Die Treppe ins Obergeschoss ist steil mit sehr schmalen stufen. Dies liegt aber an der bauweise solcher Ferienhäuser. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten einen tollen urlaub. Die Kommunikation mit den vermietern lief unkompliziert. "

"We had the most lovely stay at De Hoedenmaker! Pascal was incredibly helpful and generous with his travel advice and area recommendations for food, sightseeing, etc. We had our 6 and 4 year old in tow and the house suited us perfectly. It was stocked and well appointed and very comfortable. Perhaps most of all the location is just ideal - steps from the bustle of the city but tucked in a true residential area. A gem not to be missed. We can't wait to return!"

It was beautiful, spacious, and cozy. And the bed was incredibly comfortable, even though they were two twin beds connected. "The holiday accommodation is in a good area easily accessible to the coastal walks and easy drive to Bruges. The only issue was that one set of sheets had damp stains on them we requested these to be changed however although Julie responded and said she would come the following day she didn’t and when I tried to contact her she didn’t my respond "
