"After our original hotel was closed due to flooding, we chose Nak Nakara and it was a lovely stay here, the room was basic but was quiet & comfortable with good aircon & a short walk to the pool. The breakfast was nice as was the dining area. The pool was clean with nice seating & a small bar area. The endless complimentary chilled fruit and water was so nice. And plenty of parking for scooter"

"Our stay at the Rasa Boutique Hotel in Chiang Rai was generally pleasant. The reception was friendly and efficient and less bureaucratic than some Thai hotels: We had two rooms, one for me and my wife and a second for my wife's sister and her young adult daughter, who arrived later. We were able to check into both rooms without needing to have everyone's ID copied. The hotel is slightly dated but is designed in a nice Moorish theme. "The pros- clean room, nice employees, walkable to the night market and other key points of interest. The cons- Rock hard mattress, the bed was on a platform that made getting in and out of bed very awkward, the noise... Oh my goodness, the noise was terrible. I could hear people in the hall, people in the courtyard, the plumbing, the squeaky floors, the beeping door alarms... This was a very uncomfortable stay overall and I was wishing I hadn't paid for all four nights by the morning of day 3."

"Property is need of an update. Rooms are ok and good value. Aircon is quiet. Bed is in my top 5 hardest beds to sleep on. Area is full of restaurants and bars so no issue with location although a lot of massage places around with scantily dressed girls (but that’s nothing to do with the hotel)."
