"Perfect little overnight stop whilst my fiancée and I were journeying from London to the Lakes. Our double room was very clean, well kept and absolutely silent despite the Christmas do that was taking place in the bar downstairs, which made for a peaceful stay. The buffet breakfast, which included a full English spread and plenty of pastries, yogurts and fruits, was plentiful and all very tasty. The historic nature of the building (an old school so I have read) also provided a unique charm. We would certainly stay here again if venturing nearby."

"Comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food very good alongside friendly and helpful staff. Be aware a Service Charge is put on your bill if you eat in the restaurant. Customers should be aware and given an option."

"Lovely room with a view of the river. Beautiful decor and the radio was much appreciated. Friendly hotel staff both at check in and at the bar. Room was warm and cosy and felt homely. Only downside was a few housekeeping issues but they did not affect our stay and the room was clean otherwise. Also the car parking situation which we were aware of prior to booking is something to consider if your not happy walking from an alternative car park. Looking forward to staying at the Tudor again soon."
