"Deserts Edge is an incredible stay. The photos - while good on the website - don’t do it justice. There is a well stocked kitchen (and a plus that its stocked with Karen’s beautiful pottery), lovely living space to sit in, super comfortable bed and big bathroom with a great shower. Her house is located within walking distance to the Blue Beryl winery and within a 10 minute drive of countless others. If you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy a wine weekend, you’ve found it. "This property was in a convenient location to Colorado National Monument and local stores. The views were beautiful, the hot tub was clean and seemed brand new. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plastic wrap, paper towels..even the bathroom had soap, shampoo...suer convenient! The downside was there was some exposed wires/insulation in the ceiling, missing baseboards, rickety/non-existent railings, small holes in the floor/tile, mismatched paint. "Came to Palisade for the annual AGAG conference. This place was perfect. Very close to Cameo, comfortable and had everything you need. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and close to hiking. Didn’t use the bikes but super cool they were available. Will stay again!"
