"As someone who works for one of the most recognizable and known top of the line hotels in the world, i know what luxury and good service looks like. Once you drive into the property you're greeted by beautiful landscaping, then once you walk into the front door you're greeted with a stunning view of the ocean and a beautiful lobby. The bellman are top notch. (Akeem delivered my bags to the room). Rasan and Nicole from the front desk were awesome and extremely helpful. The chef at the jerk hut had a amazing personality, i forgot to get her name but she was short. As a Jamaican, i also know that the buffet food at most all inclusives are usually mediocre, but that's not the case with Moon Palace. Shenoya, Ann-Marie and Giovanni at the buffet were very attentive and helpful. Mr Howard along with the rest of the spa staff were great. The staff at the playroom were friendly and always remembered my daughters name. The beach party was a great time. Michael Jackson impersonator was AWESOME. My 3y/o daughter was always playing with the phone having what i thought was imaginary conversations, until about 2 days in i heard a voice talking back to her, it was Novia the operator, who then graciously enlightened me to the fact that those imaginary conversations were not so imaginary lol. She was incredibly gracious and didn't seem annoyed with the fact that my daughter was calling repeatedly without my knowledge. LOVED THE PROPERTY AND ALL THE AMENITIES! EAT SUNDECK PIZZ"

"Service was on the whole really good, except we got ghosted by one butler 🙃 the property is really nice, but a bigger pool would be nicer. The best part was easy access to hillside pool on the sister property 😄 we got an ocean view room but there was barely a view of the ocean. Bed was a little too soft for me, and water in bathtub drained too slow (we complained 3 times). Overall I’m still rating it 5 stars because we had a fun time, and the staff on the whole seemed pretty happy and were very helpful, but I probably wouldn’t go back, check out a different resort next time. "

"Located in a rural busy residential spot outside of Ocho Rios town. You had to be careful as the sharp right turn to get to the area where the place was located was scary. The roads were really bad to get to the house but then again most roads are horrible in Jamaica. The listing had 4 bedrooms when in fact there were only 3 bedrooms. Personally I would have preferred a more modern bathroom and cleaner look however we got what we paid for. The place served us well for our event but listing was misleading with a few things including check in time..I took a screenshot of that but didn’t even bother to send as Communication with the property manager was curt. The security system beeping all night nearly drove the light sleepers crazy and the security deposit for the event was not refunded even though we made sure the place was left clean and tidy. "

"I loved how clean and updated the apartment and the premises were kept. I felt right at home staying at Andrew's apartment. Very quiet environment and the communication between the host and myself was kept great in terms of reaching him if there were any concerns. It's a ground floor air conditioned two bedrooms with one of the rooms being located in the basement. There are two porchs viewing to the back of the apartment. One at the livingroom area and another by the master bedroom. Well equipped livingroom and kitchen with the ability to get your laundry done on the premises. Very close to the town centre and entertaining activities including bars and restaurants so it's convenient to get all your needs in a pinch. This is the most affordable place to stay in Ocho rios. Im very satisfied and will be staying here again. Yes there's a pool on the premises if you ever need to cool off from the heat of the sun. I felt safe walking around the community for almost everyone was friendly. If a great time is what youre seeking when you vist ochio rios this affordable apartment should be your choice.
