"Lovely stay at The Red Lion. The apartment was delightful and the perfect place to stay before a day in Exeter. The pub is very dog friendly and our 2 pups were made to feel very welcome. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely stay again and recommend the Red Lion to everyone. "

"All excellent except when validating parking on arrival the machine is under cover before the hotel entrance however this area correctly is signed no smoking but people were smoking. I asked them to move which they did eventually but it is disgusting trying to input details whilst being poisoned but cigarette smoke. Shame staff cannot use CCTV to enforce this"

Breakfast is absolutely delicious too. Such is in a great location for Sidmouth and its idyllic boutique shops and the wonderful donkey sanctuary too. "

"We absolutely loved staying here. The photos really don’t do the barn justice, it’s so much bigger than we thought and we had so much space. It was perfect for what we needed it for. The bedrooms are lovely and all the beds are really comfortable. The barn is lovely and warm with underfloor heating which was a huge bonus. the owners let us have a late checkout which was amazing because it was our wedding weekend, so we could have breakfast with our family. Thank you so so much. This made our whole post wedding morning, so much more relaxed and it was a lovely way to end our wedding. We had everything we needed in the house and will be returning again for a family trip. "
