"We stayed as two families as we needed both space and privacy whist attending a family funeral (so hotels were out). It was perfect for that and I am sure it would be great for a holiday too. The facilities were just as we expected and the house is really nice. It is in a very quite location and so would be great for a relaxing break whist being pretty close to a number of attractions. "We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

"Over-all the accommodation worked well for us. There were some nice touches icluding welcoming flowers and cakes etc which were much appreciated. Everything we needed was there. However we felt that some maintenance was needed including the table leg, dishwasher door and track and the property would benefit from some refreshing. Beds were all very comfortable. "
