Quiet and perfectly positioned to explore the Bay of Islands area. Linda was very attentive to our needs but not in the slightest intrusive. Highly recommended with lovely walks into town and around the area in the bush and by the river."

"We enjoyed our stay at this 'kombi' themed cottage - accurately described on the website and without any interruption from the outside world. A couple of points we feel would make it even more comfortable;As advertised, the TV is only connected to the DVD player and there is NO 'free to air' TV stations or online sites available. We think access to 'free to air' channels (TV1, TV2, TV3, etc) would be a great improvement.The beds had sheets with Winter weight duvets but there were no Summer...

"The cottage was even cuter in person and was the perfect base to explore the northlands from! I wish we had more time since the sunny porch and living room begged me to sit and read a good book. The historic post office flooring was beautiful and it was cool to learn about its history. Douglas was great with communication and food recommendations too! Thanks so much! "

"It's crazy quiet... and the beds are soo comfortable. I'd have loved a wee bit more water pressure in the shower mind.. though in the scheme of things not a biggy. Loved the dogs too."

"A microwave would be helpful and if you could stepping stones from the driveway to the deck would help to keep feet dry before entering house. Good otherwise. "
