"We loved staying here. Was clean and comfortable. The bunk bed was a huge hit with the kids (although wouldn’t plan to have adults stay in this room as mattresses are foam - perfect for kids though). The red kitchen was very kitsch (in a fun way). Location was superb. Gay was lovely to deal with. I’m sure we’ll be back!"

"A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."

"House was comfortable, with ample parking and suited our needs when away from home. Location is fantastic and the weather definitely helped us enjoy the break even more. Aside from having to turn on the power to the hot water and spa ourselves, everything else was great."

"What an incredible place, well worth the drive and investment Would be great if beach stairs were fixed for easy access to the beach. But we had a good time and the views far outweighed expectations The driveway is very steep and gravel is not goo with small cars but with a push up we made it up.All in all great place to stay! "Perfect place for a family holiday. Location was perfect with beaches 1 minute down the road. Access to shops & food places was easy and close. The house was amazing & worth every dollar. The pool was perfect & clean, Kids enjoyed it! House was very clean when we checked in. David was easy to talk with & answered all our questions. Very helpful good guy and he was there on check in & gave a quick run down on the house which was helpful. Definitely be staying here again in 2025 hopefully! Thanks...

"We had a fantastic stay up in Matauri Bay and the accommodation location was a short drive from the beach and other attractions. The only hitches had was we couldn’t get the TV to work, but didn’t need it in the end and could have contact led the host if we really needed it. A nice clean spot with everything we needed. Thanks"
