"The hotel was newly renovated. The rooms were updated with new carpet, beds, appliances, lights etc. The breakfast area was also updated and offered an excellent variety of hot and cold breakfast options. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful."

"Our daughter is special needs and we were taking her on a train ride near Spooner to celebrate. Our stay was short, Friday to Sunday, and our only complaint was that we had to leave. We will definitely try to come back! Can’t say enough great things!"

"My partner, dogs and I really enjoyed our stay. We lounged around, read books, threw balls and watched Tv. The host is super communicative and the cabin is so cute. The host did a great job of stocking it with a few snacks, condiments, water and coffee. The cabin has a doggie dog that a few of my pups figured out and loved. The yard is a good size but not huge. There’s a cute dog cabin. I will say, the yard and driveway get muddddyyyy and they didn’t have mud towels. I am so happy we brought 4 of our own so take heed and do that too. We loved the rustic charm and the remoteness. Oh, and that fireplace!!!! Amazing. We’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the trails and bonfire. "
