"This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

"Had no trouble finding this lovely place on the lake. Overall enjoyed our stay, however: House needed a deep cleaning. Beds were uncomfortable. Foam mattress toppers were too hot. Sheets and blankets didn’t fit the king bed. Both bedrooms/1 bathroom are downstairs, and dehumidifier needed emptying several times a day. Refrigerator water dispenser incredibly slow. "If you like the UP, nature and being on the lake, you will love this place. We enjoyed using the kayaks, row boat and paddle boat. Great location to explore the surrounding area. Noodles and blow up rafts are nice, a little weedy near shore. Clean and comfortable."
