"We had a corner room on the third floor which had views down the pedestrian part of Avon Street and James Street, both bustling streets filled with people, restaurants and shops. We were in easy walking distance of many attractions, with many points of interest along the way. The room was airy and clean and breakfast was wonderful."

"Quiet location, friendly staff, food good but needs restaurant menu changing nightly or some specials adding as when your staying for any length it gets a bit boring, also the outside at the side of the restaurant needs a good sweep and tidy up, I sat there one evening watching a mouse playing and looking for something to eat, which it found then popped back into the stone wall, which you expect to find things like that in the country but could put some people off being so near the dining room, but overall we really enjoyed our stay"
