"One night pre cruise stay, friendly staff, nice room and a good location"

"We arrived at 7am in the morning and were able to check into our room straight away, which was amazing after a long overnight boat journey. The location of the hotel is perfect for Westquay located just opposite and easy parking either in the hotel car park or in Westquay car park. The hotel has a lovely vibe and the rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable for a short stay. Rooms were quiet and we slept well. This would always be my first choice when staying in Southampton."

"The breakfast choice was very good, a few things they could do better, informed the reception when checking out. The room I was in was cold and very noisy early that morning road noise. Again informed reception."

"Everything first class. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated our luggage being taken to and from our room. Standard room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed using the coffee machine and appreciated the excellent breakfast tea and china teapot. Lovely biscuits and complimentary gin too. Also liked the chocolates and handwritten postcard for my husband's birthday, a nice gesture. Made full use of the spa facilities the following morning namely the pool, jacuzzi and...
