"An excellent hotel right in the middle of Holmfirth with the buses just seconds away. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. There are breakfast options and I was able to mix and match my choices when needed. Excellent choice of evening meals and Sunday lunches at very reasonable prices. "We were greeted by Vicky and the reception desk and she was amazing, really helpful and as the day we were going it was very windy so we set off early. "The location was excellent for a nights stay with comfortable rooms, countryside walks and dining for every meal type throughout the day at the pub downstairs. Nice view from the Serengeti room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a brewery less than a five minute walk away, nearest town is Marsden and the canal side walk to it was lovely. Would recommend and stay again. "

"My stay at the bull on the bridge, for although the purpose was somewhere to sleep for the night. The room was more than adequate, I found the bed to be very comfortable. The room was clean, even though the room overlooked the Main Street I wasn’t disturbed by any noise. The staff were friendly and if I need to stay in Sowerby bridge again I would stay here again "

"Really like our stay. The bed, duvet and pillows gave us an amazing sleep. Breakfast is as good as you will get. The two things to pick on were there was a bit of dust in the rooms and one of the rooms was very stuffy even with the fan on. As the windows only opened a little you couldn’t get much air in the room. "
