"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"Reasonable. Normally i would have said excellent but one or two things were not upto there usual standard . There was music noise from downstairs until late and the room i had was v dark but was attractive ( 13) . The food was ok but mine lacked vegetables and the fishcakes were dry."

"Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. "

"Local, family managed hotel, located on a beautiful spot of the river. Lovely vibe, and welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional!! It’s not a Holiday Inn /Marriott formulaic residence, much more of an authentic local hotel, so without some of the frills, but the honest warm welcome and great food more than makes up"

"Nice pub, our room was above bar so you could hear the bar below, it's a pub at the end of the day so you have to expect some noise. Room clean and tidy bed comfy shower good and hot, tea making facilities tea bags wont replenished. For the price of room it was value for money. Location good for the city center and railway station "

The two things to pick on were there was a bit of dust in the rooms and one of the rooms was very stuffy even with the fan on.
