"We spent the New Year on Bute and the was in the perfect location not only for its views over the Firth, but also for exploring the rest of the island. It did feel a little chilly on arrival, but with the clear instructions we were soon able to get it feeling nice and warm. We had to extend our visit for another night as we didn't realise the ferries didn't run on Bank Holiday, but this was not a problem - for Campbell or for us!! "The property was clean and tidy. We were met on time by property manager. Central heating was easy to switch on and kept flat cosy. We turned off bedroom heater as there was no window on bedroom. We kept front windows in kitchen and living room open all week to get some air flow in flat. Lovely flat walks within 50yards of property and shops also very close."

"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."
