"Check-in took some time. We had to call a number and wait for someone to come, in spite of texting when we’d be arriving. The property was beautifully.done with pretty rooms. There was a basic little breakfast but nowhere to sit to eat it. There was a restaurant/bar that we enjoyed. Had a great glass of complimentary wine in a little shop. The shower was terrific. "The Hotel 1928 was a beautiful hotel and very nice staff, but the location and area around the hotel was not very good and not sure if it was very safe area at night. We were going to walk to the Magnolia Market from the hotel, but it did not seem safe. There were security bars on most buildings and establishments around the hotel. "

The beds are super comfy & the kitchen is fully stocked. Really you have everything you need.
