"The property online looked clean and great decor. However when we got there there was a nasty smell, dirty carpets, leak from the radiator in the bathroom With paint peeling off the radiator, dirt on the walls, no way of closing the blinds unless stretching up to turn the button, mould around the sink, dirty oven, sloping stairs which made climbing them extremely dangerous, intermittent internet and tv not working. "We stayed for a week in December during a hard time for our family, and the property was just what we were after; rural, quiet and calm, with a lovely pub just yards away. The only issue we ran into was that the dishwasher was too small to clean the plates provided. But the owner was pleasant, the wood burner made things cost, and the bathroom was clean. "We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...
