"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at 28 North Bridge and I highly recommend the Editors apartments. It was clean, excellent location, fully furnished and very spacious. "This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"Great location and great view of Old Town from the windows. Clean and spacious. Beds are comfy. Can walk from the train to this location as well. Only thing to be aware of is 3 flights of stairs with luggage is required. "

"Wonderful location right off the Royal Mile. Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet, even though we were in a busy area and there was construction going on towards the back of the building. More than enough space for our family to stretch out and relax after long days of touring the city! Linens provided were ample and clean, bath products were available in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We would absolutely book again!"

"The staff on the phone COULD NOT have been nicer or more helpful!!! They were not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and guided us every step of the way when I got lost. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable and in a wonderful location, right in the heart of everything!! Highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"The linton collection was an excellent apartment block in a very good location just off the royal mile. There was a great speak easy type cocktail bar next door called the three blind mice and it was easy to walk to most actractions from the apartment. I would highly recomend the apartment as it had an excellent bathroom with a brilliant shower and free molton brown products to use. Great heating for winter stays and a fan provided if needed. "Cosy 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Good for family stay. About 8 mins walk to St James Quarter where the parking is. Entry to the apartment building is in a back alley. While it’s well lit, the occasional noise from the garbage bins can be disturbing in the night. Overall, still good."

"The location is close to all the places we wanted to see (10-15min walk). We had the castle view which was nice. We were able to walk to/from the station comfortably. There are plenty of food options along the way. I highly recommend this place. The property is maintained well, the employees are helpful and the room was clean. "

"Great hotel in a great location! Some small issues with some staff (concierge pointing us to the exit and not helping when we were noticeably struggling with luggage, concierge telling us he had no idea where we could go hear Scottish music and walking away from us, having to chase down a server to order breakfast each morning, hotel staff telling us we couldn’t ride with them in the elevator even though there was room, front desk locking us out of our room at 11am even though they told us we had late checkout at 2pm ), but when we pointed it out to them they corrected the issues. Other staff including the doorman and housekeeping were exceptional! Recommend they tell guests that they test the fire alarms every Monday between 10-11am. Fortunately housekeeping staff stopped us as we were running out of the hotel because the alarm was going off. "
