"No vacancy. I had a reservation. When I tried to register, door locked. Note saying call this long distance no.. It's 90 outside temp. No call back. I see another note pasted to another window to call this other no. for registration. Manager finally showed up. Surly. I was given a room where a ladder was in front of my window and all parking spaces taken by construction crew. I asked for another room - again he was surly. No more rooms, he said. "We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the farm on top of a hill. The view is unforgettable. The horse next door is friendly too. Very stylish and new. Comfortable beds. Every detail was well thought out from the kitchen organization to the stocked coffee area. This was home base for everything Humboldt could offer, including beaches, redwoods, and good Pizza in Eureka. We will be back for sure!"

"Beautiful setting. Room was very hot with no a/c but they did have a refreshing pool to jump into and ceiling fans. It is the most i have ever paid for a room but convenient setting for the Redwoods."
