"The location is amazing but the apartment was old and there were items needing to be fixed. Ducted heating not working, only had a split system to heat which took all night to reach the bedrooms, tv in bedroom cracked screen, no blinds in lounge, mould on bathroom grout was unsightly, bathroom sink blocked, no doona covers on beds. Would not stay here again, company offered apology via text but no mention of fixing anything. I then followed up with an email and was refunded a 20% discount off...

"We had a great time staying at this VRBO. The proximity to downtown is very nice, and there’s many lovely coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It was clean, beautiful, and the owner was very responsive to messages. Definitely recommend!"

"Not as bad as some reviews suggest. It's a bit shaggy, but overall it worked well for us. Right on the edge of Hyde Park at Oxford St., so there's a bit of noise from traffic and people in the street, but it wasn't a problem. The freezer needed a defrost but everything worked well enough and it was comfortable and very close to everything in the city.
