"The hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we stayed, but we were very impressed with the operation and the facilities available. Very large bed was really comfortable, aircon worked well and the balcony opening out on to a young vineyard was a lovely extra touch. Breakfast on both mornings was great, with lots of options including hot dishes. The gym was well-appointed (by hotel standards), and the sauna was a lovely touch of relaxation during our stay. The stay felt like good value for money - you are a little outside of Franschhoek town, but the vineyards are an easy taxi journey away. The only things I would expect to see which we didn't have, would be filtered water readily available throughout the resort (especially in the gym!), and more toiletries than just body wash and a bar of soap (I'd expect shampoo at a minimum, but conditioner and body moisturiser would be welcome additions). We will certainly consider this hotel again if/when we return to Franschhoek."

"It was my first time to South Africa, the receptionist and manager of the hotel helped me feel safe and welcomed. We arrived late due to delay and the receptionist was friendly, telling us where we can go to stretch our legs. When I asked if I can move the swing chair to outside my room, the manager offer to get the guard to help me. The place is lovely and I will definitely go back again."

"Booked here because it looked lovely, superseded our expectations! Beautiful accommodation, convenient location and fantastic staff. Would staff here again, in fact looking to revisit SA in 2025 and stay here for longer. Thankyou ao much for making my holiday so wonderful."

"What a gem! Fabulous location in the “country” yet walking distance to town. Exception staff and I mean EXCEPTIONAL! Huge spacious well appointed accommodations. Loved the private driver service. Wonderful restaurant and an amazing full breakfast. Some of the furnishings are ready for an update but overall an authentic, idyllic home away from home. (* note: the bikes need servicing). We LOVED our stay and miss Bonita a her team already. "

"An amazing stay. Service was excellent - in particular Hugo and Abigail stepped in when one of our party was ill, contacting a doctor and the local hospital on our behalf. The villa we stayed in was spectacular, with an infinity pool for the villa area. Food was outstanding as were the wines."
