"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. Cracked and rocking tiles throughout downstairs. The oven was dirty. Despite the listing stating there was wi-fi an instruction on the table stated there was not. "The cottage is in a lovely quiet rural location with beautiful views. As a family of four the two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom worked well for us. The lounge is comfortable and spacious and the kitchen a lovely size too, with a table to eat at. We also appreciated the porch and utility room which was helpful when coming in with wet coats and boots. The garden is a really good size and with the enclosed wall was perfect for our dog.
