"We had a great stay at this cozy camp, thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the water and relaxing. Lots to do in the area but not a bad drive to Portland either. We wish the bedrooms had an extra lamp each- very dark! But that is a minor complaint. Hope to Iretun next year!"

"We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. "

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again."

Only real issue was the listing offered a private boat launch and the key happened to be lost in the mail so our boat launch was unavailable to use which forced our group to use the extremely busy public boat launch 18 minutes away. "This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. The chairs in the main area were about the only thing we would change. With the amount of rain, we were stuck inside but not very comfortably. ...

"We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!"
