"Overall, we had a very comfortable stay at the Swiss Lanna Lodge. Miss Toto and Miss Nam had provided us with an exceptional level of service and answered all our queries with a friendly demeanour. "Most hotels look inviting once you see the lobby and reception area - what you see later may be different. This hotel looks just uninviting from whatever perspective, run down. Staff was not very helpful. The breakfast was very basic. Maybe I should not complain too much, as it was cheap. However this was the only positive - and I believe even simple places can be made nice, neat, cozy, inviting. This place was none of these. The pictures are so far away from reality.
