But were terribly let down: (1) car parking was a problem (2) accommodation was basic with no "Visitors Book" to leave comments (3) beds were uncomfortable (4) cooking utensils were sparse. When we normally rent there is always a bottle of wine, a few biscuits or snacks and other bits and pieces to get started. Never Again."

"My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you"

Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! Parking was right by the front door. Very quiet. Lovely high ceilings, good blackout curtains. Good size TV. Comfy feather pillows. Cons: Very hard beds, no oven, not a lot in the kitchen to make meals, not enough bowls and mugs ect. Quite narrow and few car parking spaces. No food served in the evenings. Steps to the loft...

"Staff are welcomjng and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was warm, comfortable and well appointed. The view from our room would have been stunning had it not been for rain and mist. Views of Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle. . . . Plenty of coffee, tea etc. Shower room was clean and bright, with big soft towels galore. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service great. We have already booked to go back later in the year!"
