"We stayed for one night, greeted by Paul, who was friendly and helpful. Provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Breakfast was good, basic choices of continental and full English. Good quality fresh produce used. Hotel itself is a little outdated however it was clean, towels in bathroom nice and thick, and products as in shampoo etc in shower. Free parking and plenty off it. Everything we needed for one night and more reasonable than the local Premier."

"A lovely practical room on the ground floor (as all rooms there were) with everything I needed for a good night's stay. The bathroom had THE most sensible shower I've ever experienced - the controls set apart from where the water descends on you so I could get the temperature and flow right before starting to shower! (why isn't this standard in hotels?). Lovely helpful staff and I liked the atmosphere of the place."

"Such a wonderful little hotel in an ideal location. 5 minute walk from the pier and arcades, 15 minutes or so to both shopping centres ( Gunwharf/cascades ) with the theatre being even closer if that is included in your poa for your time away! Lovely clean rooms, quite a personal experience with only me and my wife with the owner at breakfast but we liked it that way. Would recommend to anyone and will be back soon! Also lovely bar and atmosphere for drinks in the evening."

"Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. "

Bedroom was well furnished and clean as well as the very large bathroom which had both shower and bath.
