Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations."

"Our family came to Boone to celebrate our daughter's graduation from App State and we stayed at Rustic with a Chef Stove. It was a perfect place for our family! We loved playing games by the fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub and making smores around the fire pit. There were nice personal touches (well stocked coffee bar, smores stuff, welcome note and snacks) upon our arrival. It was a great weekend!"

"My wife and I spent a wonderful few days celebrating the new year in this lovely mountain retreat. Incredible views, complete privacy, everything one could need right there. We literally did not leave (other than going for walks) the whole time ... and we didn't even use the second floor of the house that has more space and bedrooms!"

"we truly got more than we expected. It was absolutely beautiful and clean. The beds were so comfortable. I couldn’t believe how spacious the rooms were. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the petting zoo and the animals were super friendly,. The containment area for all the animals was kept extremely clean as well. I really can’t say enough nice things about or stay there and we look forward to going back again next year for our annual winter vacation."

"Great little cabin. We bought our dogs and stayed for a week and skied at Sugar mountain. Good location to skiing both sugar and beech. And close too Boone. River was great. Only a couple minor things: Hot tub cover is very hard to get back on taken completely off, and not as much privacy as we originally thought (road is right behind the house). Otherwise good stay!"

"The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our cabin was cozy and inviting. Our only comfort complaint was the pillows (very flat!) and mattress (a bit hard!). But the views were gorgeous, the horses and goats loved visitors and dinner at the Inn was a treat. Make sure to grab a cocktail at the on-site cocktail bar! We will surely visit again!"
