"My daughter wanted to visit the Hobart Book Village for her Christmas present, so I thought it would be nice to stay local and find a nice quiet get-away. The Rich Farmhouse is just that. The driveway was semi-circle shaped so there was no need to worry about backing in and out. The beds were so comfortable. I even had a down comforter on the queen bed. So cozy and warm. There were not many places around to eat that were open and we needed some good quality R&R, so we opted to cook at the house....

We experienced a snow storm (10"+) and the contracted snow plow driver was there to clear the driveway and clear most of the deck area. There were plenty of bedrooms to spread out, and the great room was big enough we didnt feel crowded even when we were all together. "Everything was great. Check in was simple and went as expected. Clean and neat, plenty of room, everything we needed, very comfortable beds in the house. There was a winter storm coming, so the property owner reached out to help us be prepared and to let us know he was nearby if we needed anything. Many beautiful views of the snow to enjoy from in the house, but we were also able to get out to visit our family nearby. We will be back. "
