"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. "We had a lovely 2 night stay in a beautiful room (Ford, room 2). The room was immaculately clean and very tastefully designed. The hotel throughout was clean and staff very polite and friendly. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and the food was served fresh and delicious. We ate an evening meal during our stay and were again spoiled for choice. The meal we chose was also delicious and the dessert was amazing too. "

"We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was excellent with a spotless new bathroom and comfortable bed. Better pillows would have been nice but not a problem for a short stay. The food was very good but the service rather slow. We weren't in any hurry but 30-40 minutes to produce breakfast after ordering seemed a bit excessive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful so positive overall."
