"I had stayed at this site previously, the location is great. The resort has plenty of extras without excess noise and bustle. Our host was spot on with communications! The room size and set up was perfect for our needs. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I just tried to not look in the corners or floors. "We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. "

"Three generations enjoyed this beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped home. The property is gorgeous and the home has lots of children's equipment and toys. The owners are extremely responsive which is a change from other VRBOs. If you have a large group and want to be a bit outside of downtown Williamsburg, I would highly recommend this wonderful house. "We enjoyed our brief stay at this home in Weems with fire pit and access to water. The house had all the necessities. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, though the geese tried to stake their claim on the dock. 😂 At one point, a group of 7 deer came sauntering through the back yard - fun to watch. We enjoyed a lovely fire one night as we watched the Hunter moon rise. "

"Such a nice peaceful place. There is a short kayak paddle to the Chesapeake Bay. Lots of Kayaks to choose from too, kayaks for the novice to the expert paddler or bring your own like I did. Frank and Sandy are the hosts and could not be more accommodating. This is the best equipped Holiday home we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few over the years. Best of all we could bring our wonderful Dog Angus, he's not just a Pet he's family!"

"Five of us stayed at this cute little 3 bedroom, very centrally located to everything you’d like to do in the area. Everything was 10-15 minutes away. Very quiet neighborhood (however conveniently located near the dumpsters, they pick up about 7am). The beds and pillows were wonderfully comfortable! Everything you could need to cook at home if you wanted to. Laundry area and supplies were very much appreciated and we went home with clean clothes which is a nice bonus at the end of vacation....
