"The Lamb is a fine hotel in the heart of Ely. The staff were reliably helpful, polite, and skilled. The room was clean, comfortable and big enough for me and my wife. Breakfast was well done, we had the "Full English" a couple of times and "Continental" (Cereal, fruit, yogurt) other times. Coffee was good. The dinners were ample, prepared properly and served promptly. The beer variety was good and the bartenders helpful and quick. The location of the Lamb was perfect for me. The deservedly famous Ely Cathedral (includes a Stained Glass museum) was a block away and the Ely Museum was a block in the other directions. Many shops and places to eat were nearby. The town itself is quite charming. My only concern re: the Lamb was the bathtub/shower. The tub itself seems too narrow and slippery - it felt a little unsafe for this 'in-shape' 71 year old (I'm guessing the tub is an old one that's been "redone". A much smaller issue = the instructions on how to operate the shower were incomplete."

"There was an event going on and i was including but later drying the vent my mum called and she's was not well and the staff was brillant and let me go ealier and the staf keept comming two me and asking me if i was okay been there before thats why i go cuse the are bloodly friendly "

" Room 109 - at the back of the Annex, good bed, decent bathroom, woeful view across a carpark, but that was no problem as I was only staying overnight and it was near dark when I arrived. Used the bar when I came back from dinner elsewhere, decent pint of JHB before bedtime...kudos to new night staff member Sarah for her service, good addition to The Bull team"

"We had a fabulous weekend at The Grange, the house is beautiful, well equipped for large groups/families and has plenty of space. There are lots of bathrooms, mirrors, lovely thick bath towels, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens plus the Aga. Lots of thoughtful touches for a large party. There is a great games room - only thing to note is that it’s on the first floor so not really part of the main living / communal areas downstairs. We loved our weekend away and would definitely return, thank you!! "

"Very friendly, warm welcome, lovely apartment with pretty much everything needed in the kitchen. My wife loves the huge bath and amazing location. Dogs are very welcome and no extra charge which made a lovely change. Will be back again "
