Generally clean and tidy, although not sure if it had a deep clean due to COVID-19. "Great property for the 6 of us. Large rooms, and comfortable beds. Bedding and towels were included, along with tea-towels and oven cloth. Washing up liquid and dish washer tablets were also included. Games room had a pool table and table football game, which my family enjoyed. We bever used the sauna or jacuzzi, but the swimming pool got very well used. Not always enough shade, but not often a problem in thd UK, we were just extremely lucky with the weather. "Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. "

"A newly renovated property situated in a small village offering comfort and welcome for our family holiday. A spacious and well stocked kitchen with good amenities. The garden and patio area were perfect for evening drinks and dining with comfortable patio furniture. "Lovely modern cosy house in centre of Gayton village, close to the local pub. Everything was provided and we immediately felt at home (as did the dog who loved the garden). Great communication with the owner and everything was super easy to gain access. Close to King's Lynn and less than an hour from the beach at Well-Next-The-Sea. Even a disused windmill in the village, that is someone's lovely home! Recommended"

"Only spent a couple of nights here but could definitely have stayed longer. Cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The owners are really helpful and none intrusive. Complimentary wine and fresh bread are a lovely touch.(bread definitely a winner) Property is very handy for Ely and Cambridge. Use the park and ride for Cambridge. It's good value and cheaper than parking in the centre."

"The overall stay at the location was nice and pleasant. Communication between customers and owner was basic. The building of stay was a good size and plenty of room to move about without being on top of eachother. The decor was outdated and requires upgrades in places. Cleanliness was poor in places so ended up cleaning ourselves. The big let down of property was the poor WiFi signal which was not spoke about in there general advertising discription. "It was the best place I’ve stayed at in Peterborough so far. Clean, nice, and central. Only criticisms are the shower door was broken/not attached properly ( I expect this was a previous resident and hasn’t been noticed yet) and that the double bed was 2 singles with a double sheet over it, so I kept waking up falling down the middle! But with that said, it was a decent place and I will likely return. "

My room looked out on the road; at first I thought it would be too noisy but the double glazing was very effective at blocking the sound. Good information eg clearly labelled light switches.
