"We have just enjoyed 4 nights in the apartment (more like a one floor cottage) with the most spectacular views. The owners were very helpful and the property was spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens. We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the vista. Everything was exactly as you would wish for with modern design and lovely beams. I can highly recommend this apartment and the surrounding area was stunning. We wish we had booked for a week. "The house is two floors of a three-floor building. Entered by the metal staircase you can see in the picture. The interior is tasteful, and we found it well cared for. The rooms are lovely and all the bedrooms are a good size. The living room and dining area are much larger than the photos suggest. The place is spacious, with lots of space for everyone. "The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"Nous avons passé 9 jours mémorables à Bernau. La maison est très agréable, proche de parcs (europa park, baden paradies) et lieux à visiter (rhein fall, donauaueschingen, lac de constance). La commune de Bernau est magnifique, le depart de balades et nombreuses randonnées. De nombreux lacs (schluchsee, titisee) et cascades à proximité. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir la fête de Hans Thoma durant notre sejour, fête traditionnelle de la forêt noire. "

"Caren & Michaels place was fantastic, such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for a few days over Christmas and it was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and calm area close to nature.The hosts were lovely, and were there to support if you needed anything. They even came by and with some Christmas snacks and Gluhwein on Christmas eve, which made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!"
