"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. "We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"The location was close to town but yet far enough away to be peaceful. We loved the animals so close by!! The house and the location are beautiful. The house was clean and well kept. "Caren & Michaels place was fantastic, such a lovely house with everything you could possibly need. We stayed for a few days over Christmas and it was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet and calm area close to nature.The hosts were lovely, and were there to support if you needed anything. They even came by and with some Christmas snacks and Gluhwein on Christmas eve, which made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend!"

"We have just enjoyed 4 nights in the apartment (more like a one floor cottage) with the most spectacular views. The owners were very helpful and the property was spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens. We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the vista. Everything was exactly as you would wish for with modern design and lovely beams. I can highly recommend this apartment and the surrounding area was stunning. We wish we had booked for a week. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the Black...
