"We stayed here with our family and 2 pups. It was a short <20 min drive to Cedar Point, which was the purpose of our trip. Our teenagers loved the park/playground being about a block and a half away and we loved the small beach by the lake where you could see Cedar Point. There were a lot of, what we assume mayflies, but that is expected being right near the water and the time of year. "We really enjoyed this adorable place to crash during our Cedar Point weekend. Decor was adorable - cute seasonal touches that really made this feel homey. We had 6 people, and the bed configuration was a bit confusing when we first arrived, but we made it work. (There's no bunk bed, but a trundle under the twin bed. It just can't be used well in the bedroom because it blocks the door from opening all the way.) Everything was very clean, and there were plenty of linens and extra touches like...

"Our family from Washington and California traveled out to Oberlin for our nephew/son’s recital at Oberlin. This house was great! Very close to the college and so easy get to not only enjoy the recital but also to pop over to visit when his schedule allowed. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. "We were visiting our family in the nearby town of Norwalk so this home was perfect for our needs. It was quaint, clean, and perfect location between our family and beautiful downtown Huron. Not to mention a short 1min walk to the Pied Piper! The train noises were not bad at all and I really appreciated that the host gave us the option to cancel within 48hrs of booking due to the noise. We also appreciated that ear plugs were provided for our light sleepers. "

"This house is in a perfect location. Easy walk into town where there are shops and restaurants and close to the beach (although we were there in October). The house was super clean and had everything you would need. We did not use the kitchen but it was well stocked with plenty of cookware, etc. The coffee bar with fresh ground coffee from the local shop along with K cups was a nice touch and delicious. Owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with. We hope to stay there again next year."

"Rented for my wires surprise birthday party thay included a visit to Cedar Point for an evening Halloween event. House is amazingly convenient to the park and in a clean, quiet area. Property manager was very responsive and EXTREMELY helpful! The house itsself was very nice and clean, and came with all the necessary amenities! Definitely recommended! "

We are one short block from the park and Lake Erie.

"House was described, clean and very nice. Kids loved the loft bedroom. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 furbabies. Owner was very nice and replied back promptly anytime i had a question. Very close to everything. Will definitely be back"

Good Place to Stay

"This is a good place to stay. I've been to several locations in the area and I've found this to be the best available. Easy check in/check out. (They even put a receipt under my door overnight which saved me time from having to request one printed upon check out). Easy right turn exiting the property towards the highway! (Might sound like a strange thing to say but it matters.) Friendly check in. Close to a good quality affordable restaurant. They actually had real food available for breakfast- you know eggs, sausage, etc. Negatives: I thought the property and the room I stayed in could use some further cleaning up (swept/vacuumed/etc.) I thought the mattress was alright but VERY firm. Maybe some people like that but I do not. I thought the shower water pressure was poor. I'd give it a C-. Overall, yes I would stay there again. "

"First time here and won’t be the last. Beautifully decorated for Christmas inside and outside. The property is beautiful and well kept. Employees all were friendly and helpful. Love all the tables and chairs throughout, nice to play a card game on. The indoor swimming pool is nice and they had an outdoor fireplace going. "

"We were so pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was! I wasn’t expecting much because the price was so low. It had all the amenities we needed, the breakfast was great, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was huge, clean and such a versatile space. There are a ton of dining options nearby, plus an amazing Walmart, and tons of shopping centers. Super close to kalahari too! We were in Ohio to go to kalahari but we enjoyed the hotel so much we are considering coming back sometime just to enjoy the hotel and pool! "
